Emil is a great teacher! I started learning French with him from A0 and he's patient, encouraging, but also appropriately challenges you. Highly recommend!

I was insecure about taking lessons in the fear of being frustrating and insecure over being a beginner, but Emil was patient and understanding. He was really easy to talk to, and I look forward to learning more with him. After our lesson I immediately wanted more time. Would definitely recommend :)

Emil is patient and nice to work with. I appreciate how he provides the exact correct way to phrase a sentence when I make a mistake. He provides positive feedback, and just as important, timely corrections. I look forward to my next lesson with Emil.

Another good lesson. Emil had sent me an article to read. We spent the first 30 minutes reviewing the article, with Emil asking me questions. When we finished discussing the article, I asked Emil to help me practice << etre >> verbs and << avoir >> verbs, specifically with the << passe compose. >> He brought up an exercise and spent time on that, which was very helpful. I feel (je me sens) a little more confident now.
