Hello! My name is Naomi. I hold a bachelor's degree in literature and have been teaching English to different nationalities since 2007. I'm also TEFL/TESOL certified.
Since my students’ English levels vary, I make sure that my lessons cater to their proficiency. I can teach grammar, vocabulary, news article reading and discussion, IELTS speaking and writing, pronunciation, and punctuation. If you’re aiming to practice speaking, I’m also capable of holding conversations about a variety of topics. Moreover, I believe repetition and reviews are essential to ensure my students’ comprehension and help keep track of their progress, so they can expect effective learning. Likewise, I expect my students to express and never doubt themselves. Last, I always encourage them to ask for clarification, and I give them suggestions for improvement.

120 Hour Advanced TEFL/TESOL Course - TEFL Universal - 2025To obtain my certificate, I studied ten modules about TEFL/TESOL--from grammar to lesson planning to classroom management--, answered a 15-question quiz after each module, and took the 50-question assessment. My certification enables me to teach English to young learners as well as adults confidently and effectively.
