Hi there! My name is Marisha, and I'm a native English speaker from South Africa with nearly ten years of online teaching experience.
I’m qualified to teach:
Young children (ages 4–18)
Teens and Adults
I’ve completed my TEFL, TEYL, and IELTS certificates, and I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics and Psychology. I’m also learning Portuguese and working on improving my Afrikaans—so I completely understand the challenges that come with learning a new language!
Please note: The availability on my calendar is mostly for trial lessons. If you're interested in regular classes, feel free to message me to check for open time slots.

In our structured lessons, we’ll focus on a specific topic using carefully selected materials suited to your level. Each lesson includes useful vocabulary, a reading or video, engaging activities, and a comprehension task. After completing a 10-lesson package, you can choose to continue with topic-based lessons or switch to more textbook-focused grammar sessions—whichever suits your learning goals best.
For conversational classes, we’ll chat about topics that interest you and are relevant to your daily life. Whether you’re an adult wanting to build fluency or a child just beginning your English journey, I’ll do my best to keep each lesson motivating and meaningful.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Before we begin, or during your trial lesson, we’ll chat about your learning goals and what you'd like to achieve. I’m here to support you every step of the way, with whatever assistance you need.

These classes included 1-6 students and were 45 minutes/25 minutes in length. I taught different types of classes including demo classes to sell the product packages to the clients. They also had an incentive program I benefited from which included free Mandarin Chinese lessons when a certain amount of English lessons were taught in a period of 3 months.
