I know I've said this before, but I'll say it again — Sonia is the best. At the end of each lesson I feel I know more about the world than I did previously — and of course more Italian! Since starting my lessons with Sonia, I've noticed a profound difference in how I think and speak in Italian. She articulates herself very clearly and intelligently, and it helps me do the same. Thank you so much Sonia for your dedication and lesson prep!

Sonia is a highly professional teacher, but above all she is engaging and very encouraging. She created a fantastic learning journal for us to use together on google docs. She used exercises, grammar sheets, and authentic materials like songs to teach in a very effective way. I enjoyed my hour spent learning Napoletano with her and look forward to our next lesson.

Not only do we work on improving my Italian, I also get to learn so much about Italy when studying with Sonia. Today we talked about some very interesting things about Naples. Sotto Napoli c’è un’altra citta. I had no idea! Once again, thank you, Sonia!

In meeting with Sonnia for a year I've had an incredible opportunity to learn Italian. She's patient with her approach and keeps it light with great laughter at times. I am very grateful to have met her on this site and hope she never stops teaching!
