Ciao! My name is Sabina. I am a professional teacher and digital materials creator. I am 31 years old and I come from Sicily, in Italy.
I earned a master’s degree in Language Sciences and Linguistics at the University for Foreigners of Perugia with a specialization in Teaching Italian as a foreign language (full marks). I also hold DITALS Level II certification. I keep my skills updated through webinars, seminars, and other trainings.عني كمعلّم
I'm a coach: I will teach you how to become independent in your study process. I value your time, effort, and money, and I will optimize lessons to use our time effectively and make the most of online learning. I try to infuse humor and curiosity into my lessons, and always emphasize the value of making mistakes as an essential part of the learning process. I can offer you traditional classes based on grammar, but also conversation classes tailored to your interests to help you to improve your communication skills. Music, culture, history, Italian lifestyle—all can be interesting topics of conversation.
I strive to personalize each lesson. I begin by assessing your language proficiency in four areas: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I then create a lesson plan. I may recommend and share videos and audio files as supplementary sources to help you learn vocabulary, grammar, and useful phrases. Learning a new language can be both frustrating and enjoyable at the same time.
Sabina finds clever ways of reducing the frustration yet making the lesson more fun at the same time. This creates an ideal learning environment.
As an accredited professional language teacher, she's patient, knowledgeable, and effective. She also uses good equipment and strong internet connection so you can hear her speak more clearly.
