Mia

I look forward to my lesson with Mia every week. She is a delight and helps me speak and understand. She is very patient when I forget words or have to look them up.

Great teacher always prepared and supportive. Kids have completed more than 40 lessons with Mia, and they have made tons of progress. Mia managed to keep my kids interested, in a fun way. My son (9 yrs old) and daughter (11 yrs old) are always keen to start their lesson. Mia is very professional, always punctual and well prepared with a lot of material to keep the kids engaged. If not for Mia, I think that my kids would have given up learning Chinese a long time ago. Yesterday, my daughter said "I don't know why people say Chinese is difficult to learn" , I think it proves that Mia is doing a very good job!

This was another great conversation with Mia guiding me with questions and helping me with words I forgot. She is terrific! I am 80, so learning a new language is difficult. Mia makes me feel as if I am getting more and more comfortable in Mandarin. I highly recommend her. She also is a very nice and very caring person.

Mia is an excellent teacher who pushes me to the limit of my knowledge of Mandarin and engages me in very interesting conversations.

Mia is a wonderful teacher. She gently led me through a conversation about my past. She is so patient when I cannot remember a word. (I am 80 which makes learing a language difficult). After 3 years of studying (and talking in Mandarin) with her almost every Monday night, she has become family.

Mia was once again terrific. She guided me through our conversation about our weeks and our pets. Love it. Although I am 80 I plan to keep studying with Mia as long as I can.
