Hello! I'm Stefan, a French teacher from Martigues in Provence. Fluent in French and English, with some Spanish and Czech, I'm curious and love discussing culture (literature, arts, music), personal development, pop culture, or any topic. With 15+ years teaching French to foreigners, I'm patient, kind, and indulgent—securing lessons one step at a time in a calm atmosphere. We speak mostly French, with grammar explanations, translations, or cross-language parallels as needed. Tailored to your goals, we cover: Conversations & culture Specific topics Full skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation) Vocabulary Exam/holidays/business prep Roleplay Rolepla I have been teaching French for foreigners for more than 9 years, and I love it. I consider myself a very patient teacher, watchful yet kind and indulgent. I always take the time to secure what we learn together. One step at a time, that's how you learn to run! I will help you focus on what you have to improve, in a calm and gentle atmosphere. Of course we will mostly speak French during the lessons, but from time to time I can give you some complex translations, explain difficult grammar, or draw parallels in other languages. J'ai pris quelques cours avec Stefan avant mon examen DELF B2 et ça à été une excellente décision. Stefan m'a donné beaucoup de bons conseils pour améliorer mon expression orale et écrite. Stefan adapts his lesson effectively to my needs. He predicts what he think I will need as a stimulus, and asks me leading questions that have the effect of expanding the conversation. His side-coaching on matters of grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation is skillful and sensitive. I recommend him to all students of French.
