Hello everyone! As a passionate language enthusiast, I have the privilege of being fluent in six languages and am currently on a journey of mastering a seventh. Based in the heart of Barcelona, I specialize in teaching both Spanish and Catalan, focusing on creating an immersive and enjoyable learning experience for my students. Teaching languages is not just a job for me, it's a passion. The joy of witnessing my students evolve and grasp the essence of a new language gives me a unique perspective and is profoundly rewarding. For me, languages transcend mere words—they're powerful tools for communication. This conviction has been the driving force behind my teaching methodology, with conversation at its heart. While I am more than capable of guiding students through the intricacies of grammar, it's not my primary focus. Should you require in-depth grammar lessons, I simply ask for a heads-up on the specific topic so I can tailor the lesson to your needs. Throughout my teaching journey. I've had the privilege of not only imparting knowledge but also forming cherished friendships with many of my students. I look forward to the possibility of counting you among them!

I had a very nice and interesting first Catalan class with Eric. As a teacher myself I could tell he has experience teaching languages and as a multilingual person and language student himself he's able to understand the challenges that learning a language sometimes poses.

Eric is my teacher for several months now. I couldn't be happier. He does a great job, is always prepared and is flexible enough to keep up with my always changing schedules.
