My name is Kai, but you can also call me Mike. I consider myself an open and easy-going individual, and I am quite active. My interests include sports, singing, watching movies, reading, playing games, and filmmaking.

Russian is my native language, and I am also fluent in English, Chinese, Kyrgyz, and Kazakh. I have over five years of teaching experience in Russian, Chinese, and English, both online and offline. My students come from diverse backgrounds, with ages ranging from 5 to 65 years.
With more than eight years of teaching experience in China and other parts of the world, I have gained a deep understanding of various educational theories. My teaching style is quite unique, designed to help you understand concepts more easily and clearly. We will focus on three main aspects: Grammar, Vocabulary, and Practice.
To illustrate, consider grammar as a brand-new sports car. This car won't move without fuel, and in this analogy, vocabulary serves as that fuel. However, if you don't know how to drive, both the car and the fuel are essentially useless. Therefore, practice is akin to developing the skills needed to navigate this impressive vehicle we call language.

This was a very enjoyable and useful lesson. I learned some more words and inflections that I might not have uncovered on my own. I clarified some aspectual and other semantic distinctions in Russian verbs of motion. I will always return for more informative lessons with this instructor.

Really great introductory Russian lesson. Mike gave a realistic and positive perspective on learning the language to fluency, the atmosphere in the session was relaxed and conversational; Mike is supportive and presents the subject matter very clearly and with evident enthusiasm & knowledge. I will absolutely be returning for many more classes to come!
