Hi! I’m Shimei van der Walt, a bilingual English teacher from South Africa, where 11 languages weave our vibrant culture. Fluent in English and Afrikaans, I’ve helped students worldwide since 2019 master *real* communication—not just grammar, but confidence and cultural fluency. Learning English doesn’t have to be boring—actually, it can be a whole lot of fun! As a teacher, I love turning lessons into something exciting and interactive. Over the years, I’ve picked up loads of handy tips and tricks that have helped my students feel more confident and enjoy the process.
