Hi, I’m Franziska—a German nomad with a heart full of wanderlust and a passion for bridging cultures through language. Born and raised in Germany, I carry the essence of German traditions, humor, and daily life in my bones. But my story took a vibrant turn when I spent nearly 7 years living, studying, and working in Australia. There, I soaked up the sun, the slang (fair dinkum!), and the laid-back Aussie way of life, becoming a cultural insider in both worlds. For me, language isn’t just grammar and vocabulary—it’s the secret handshake to unlocking deeper connections, whether you’re ordering a *Kaffee* in Berlin or cracking jokes over Vegemite toast in Sydney.عني كمعلّم
I believe learning should be fun. I´m not a professional teacher but over the years I learned a lot and had plenty of time to perfect my trade. I taught German and English for fun (sometimes, in Myanmar, for example, also for cookies...) and professionally on italki. Additionally I completed a 6 months online TEFL (teaching English as a foreign language) training. I want you to reach the goals you´ve set for yourself and individualize every lesson to your needs. If you need to improve your reading and/or listening skills, for example, I can offer you reading material and audio files that will support you in doing so. In my lessons I will predominantly use the target language with you, so if you want to learn German, we´ll talk, write and learn in German, if it´s English, English, of course.
To me it is very important to get a feel for the language you want to learn and I believe learning by doing is the best approach. To keep it fun - tell me what topics are interesting to you and we´ll chat about that!موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Die Lehrerin hat den Unterricht an meine Bedürfnisse angepasst. Wir hatten während des Probeunterrichts ein sehr gutes Gespräch, in dem die Lehrerin sich nach meinen Zielen erkundigt hat.
Im zweiten Unterricht war sie sehr gut vorbereitet und hat eine Aktivität vorgeschlagen, die für meine Zwecke sehr relevant war. Sie hat mir außerdem nützliches Allgemeinwissen vermittelt und interessante Meinungen und Ideen geäußert, die mich zum Nachdenken gebracht haben.
Sie ist viel gereist, deshalb ist es sehr interessant und angenehm, mit ihr zu sprechen. Ich hatte auch den Eindruck, dass ihr der Sprachunterricht Freude bereitet, was eine sehr gute Eigenschaft für eine Lehrerin ist.
Ich hatte eine sehr gute Zeit!

Franziska is definitely a great teacher! She is patient and always using rich examples to explain German. Before putting my German skills into practice and real life, I like to be prepared, and that’s why I chose to first work with a German teacher.
Franziska helps me improve step by step, always encourages me to speak more and not be afraid of making mistakes. I really appreciate her teaching! :)
