I am Sabrin, an energetic and positive-minded 28-year-old Finnish girl who has a passion for travelling. I am half Lebanese, but I grew up in Finland.
I have been backpacking on and off since I was 16 years old. At the moment I am settled back home in Jyväskylä, but I still travel a lot, thanks to my online job🫶🏼
What I love to do in my free time; sing, laugh, adventure around, do pilates outdoors, run, eat chocolate while watching Netflix.. Hang out with friends having deep conversations, and sometimes no conversations at all (as us Finns love our silence😉). I also LOVEEE cats.❤️

As a teacher I am fun, but supportive and patient. I am experienced, I have been teaching full time since 2019. I want to focus on every student 100%, my priority is to support your learning the best way I can. To push you to be a better speaker, but not to push you too hard. I want to create a relaxed and supportive atmosphere where you don't need to be afraid of making mistakes, and where you can feel confident and safe.

I teach ALL levels, beginners from a book (total beginners more than welcome!) and more advanced speakers with conversation (it's gonna be fun!). If you wish to learn from your own material or in a different way, we can do that as well.
I teach everything; pronunciation, grammar, listening comprehension etc. I will give you homework as well (unless you don't want it).
I will do my best teaching and explaining you whatever it is that you want/need to learn, but some grammatical explanations might be better learnt with a professional teacher.موادي الخاصة بالتدريس

Sabrin is the best teacher I can imagine! She is an absolute expert in teaching puhekieli. She always provides you with hints and information that are helpful for you on your language level to raise your skills and feel more comfortable in speaking and understanding Finnish. At the same time she is superpatient so that I don´t have to be afraid of making mistakes.

Learning Finnish with Sabrin is the most fun and easy way I ever learned a language. During the lesson time flies and you just don't realize how much you've already learned in that lesson.

I'm so grateful for Opettaja Sabrin. I've been studying Finnish with her for about 7 months now and I always look forward to our lessons. She is extremely patient and she has a special talent in making our lessons fun and interesting. I particularly like that she has taught me puhekieli from the beginning. It was my first lesson and I loved it. The teacher made notes during the lesson, asked about my goals and together we prepared a plan for my future lessons based on my needs. The teacher is so kind, positive and supportive.
