Hey there! My name is Bianca, and I’m from a small town in Brazil. I’ve been immersed in both English and Portuguese since I was young, and I’m passionate about languages and cultures. I’ve had some amazing adventures along the way: in 2018, I lived in Nagasaki as an exchange student to study Japanese, and more recently, in 2021, I spent time in the Cayman Islands with my partner. These travels have only strengthened my love for learning about new places and people.
I spent the past five years working at a law firm as an interpreter and case organizer, but teaching has always been close to my heart, so I decided to return to the classroom and do what I genuinely enjoy.عني كمعلّم
I began teaching at a language school a year after starting my English degree at university, and I stayed there for five years. I also worked as a part-time tutor at a Kumon school in Japan for six months. Later, I joined iTalki and taught for just over two years. After a long break to adapt to my new job as a translator, I'm now back to teaching and I can say I'm very familiar with online teaching tools. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
★ At first, I would like to know a little about your interests and goals with English or Portuguese, in order to know the topics and material we'll be using;
★ Conversation lessons (B1-C2) are fun and based on interesting videos or articles;
★ Portuguese general lessons are based on a textbook and you will be assigned homework to practice your language skills even when you're not in class.

I love working with Bianca and appreciate that she tailors each lesson to my needs and interests. Recently, she's been working with me to read a very difficult and complicated book in Portuguese that I've been wanting to tackle. She's a very dedicated and patient tutor.

Bianca is an outstanding teacher, patient and has a lot of experience teaching. I was surprised for the preparation she brings to each class. Using conversational teaching, she has helped my confidence to start talking Portuguese in a natural manner.

Bianca is really helpful and Intelligent teacher. I feel really comfortable to speaking English with her. I find it perfect that I can learn English having interesting and nice conversation. The only disadvantage is that time pass to fast :)
