🌳 I was born in Korea and grew up until I was 14. I have been moving to different lands to study and work since then. I live in Germany, at the moment shortly living in Seoul. I am preparing myself to become a professional Korean teacher. I like sharing knowledge of Korean culture and the language for those who likes Korea or would like to learn about Korea.
Korea is a place where the term “정“ exists. It is known as a strong bond or feeling towards other people. Getting to know this culture is as important as learning Korean language "한글". I also believe it is more than just learning to speak but rather learning how to communicate well with Koreans.

❤️ I have been teaching Korean since 2017. Teaching gives me joy and meaning in my life. I have a deeper understanding of the struggles that students face since I had to relearn to reconnect with my own culture. I know learning a language needs a bit of push so I like to offer student a plan for individual learning curves.
During our lessons, I lead the class depending on the needs of each student. I focus on cultivating good habits in learning because I think that is the most important part of learning something new. Depending on your interest. AND how we can share those interests in Korean and make friends? we will work on it together. I will help you with the learning through interesting conversations and interactive exercises.

Homework is necessary for students to stay motivated. It is to help building a independence with learning through a critical thinking process.
✔Tailored Plans

I’ve been taking lessons with seunghee for over 3 years now, starting when I could barely read the alphabet, she taught me basically everything I know. From grammar, listening and speaking, she knows all my strengths and weaknesses, always challenging me to improve myself. But she goes way beyond the language, teaching about korean food, culture and life. Throughout our lessons we covered so many topics, with each lesson getting more advanced. Even when explaining certain grammar structures, she has a special talent to explain the nuances and teaches you the feeling for the language. I’m sure she will be my first and last korean tutor! (: I can’t recommend her enough! You will most definitely miss out if you don’t book a lesson with her asap!!

She was very gentle and welcoming. I did not feel intimidated at all (which I was scared would happen since I'm kind of jumping into this with barely anything at hand). I'm excited for future lessons with her!
