Hello! I'm Mina, a university student majoring in genetics and bioengineering. Beyond science, I'm passionate about creative pursuits like writing and drawing, and I love connecting with diverse cultures through travel. Tutoring since high school has been incredibly fulfilling, witnessing students' growth brings me joy. Besides English, I speak Bosnian/Serbian/Croatian and have a fascination for languages. I've studied Latin and French, and I'm excited to explore Japanese. Let's embark on this learning adventure together! As a language tutor, I strive to carefully consider and assess my goals and priorities in the classroom. Creating a welcoming and non-judgmental atmosphere is paramount, allowing students to feel at ease to express themselves freely and engage in genuine conversation. Additionally, I am dedicated to motivating and assisting students in navigating the complexities of language terminology and speech. In my lessons, I incorporate auditory and visual elements to cater to diverse learning styles. By utilizing multiple approaches, I aim to ensure each student maximizes their learning experience. Recognizing that individuals have varying techniques and learning preferences, I adapt my teaching methods accordingly, striving to personalize each lesson for the benefit of the student.
