Hi! My name is Mena and I'm 28 years old. I live in the south of Italy.
I'm a native Italian speaker and I also speak English, German and French. I'm currently learning Korean so I know how hard it can be to learn a new language.
I love travelling, cooking, baking and especially eating. I love to sew and I also enjoy reading and watching movies.
Ciao! Sono Mena e ho 28 anni. Vivo nel sud Italia.
Sono madrelingua italiana. Parlo anche inglese, tedesco e francese. Al momento, sto imparando il coreano e quindi capisco perfettamente com'è difficile imparare una nuova lingua.
Amo viaggiare, cucinare, cucire, fare dolci e soprattutto mangiare. Mi piace anche leggere e guardare film e serie TV.عني كمعلّم
As I said before, I know how hard its to learn a new language, especially all by yourself. I know from experience that having conversations is the easier way to learn a new language. But we can also use some books and worksheets. We'll have a very relaxed environment.
Come ho già detto precedentemente, so quant'è difficile imparare una nuova lingua, specialmente da soli. So per esperienza che avere conversazioni è il modo più semplice per imparare una lingua. Ma possiamo usare anche libri e schede per rendere la lezione più semplice. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I will craft my classes based on your needs and we'll decide all the topics together, so we can have conversations about things you like. I also will use tv series/movies and songs to help you practice in a fun way. We can also focus on grammar, vocabulary and whatever you need to learn and improve. I DO NOT TEACH NAPOLETANO.
Le lezioni saranno strutturate in base ai tuoi bisogni e insieme decideremo gli argomenti da trattare, così da poter avere conversazioni riguardo le cose che preferisci. Userò anche serie TV/film e canzoni per imparare in modo divertente.
Ci concentreremo anche sulla grammatica, vocaboli e qualsiasi cosa possa aiutarti a migliorare.

Mean has been more than a language instructor. She taught me Italian culture, history, and shared a few recipes with me. After learning the basics, she focused on the things I wanted to learn. Asking for directions and understanding the responses, asking about items on a menu and for recommendations, and even explaining Italian traffic signs, laws and driving tips. In just a few months, Mena has taken me for knowing zero Italian to a B1 level. I look forward to continuing my Italian journey under Mena’s tutelage.

Mena is an amazing Italian tutor! She is very friendly and patient, has great resources for learning, makes a constant effort to keep the lessons in Italian, and also gives you ample time to speak and think. She is also really flexible with lesson plans, so if you have an idea of the conversation topics or grammar areas you want to work on she is very open to working on those areas. With each lesson, my ability to speak and, more importantly, my confidence increase significantly! Grazie mille, Mena!

Today was my first lesson with Mena. I could not be more pleased. Previously I’ve had lessons for other languages with different teachers. They always made me feel uncomfortable and pressured. Mena was completely the opposite. She made me feel totally comfortable and never embarrassedhh despite my many mistakes. I’m looking forward to future lessons.
