Hey! Oi! CELTA-certified teacher with 13+ years of experience.
I specialize in organic, mistake-friendly learning, sometimes strict sometimes light.
Inclusive: Black community, LGBTQIAP+, neurodivergent minds, people with disabilities, elders.
From Rio do Sul, Brazil (yup, we have mild winters!).
I’m obsessed with languages (even the ones I’ll never speak), psychology, dinosaurs. I have a velociraptor tattooed, and also a meteor.
But I really like helping people learn languages above all else.
Let’s walk, or run, toward ENOUGH fluency together. You can make it prettier later.
I look for weekly students, and willing to spend at least ONE extra hour to complete homework.

Schools, big and small.
Communicative, lexic, audiolingual, active methodologies.
I've been a translator, interpreter, ghost writer, teacher.

Anyway, some years ago I started teaching my own way, and that's why I'm still here.
Teaching and learning organically, autonomously, functionally.
Using mistakes productively.
Not for shaming or making you anxious.
Making language real.
Not a PDF or Power Point.
It's language. It makes sense while there's communication.

We will basically interact in real ways, but linguistically-focused 100% of the time.

Um professor que me deixou completamente à vontade. É simpático, tem uma entonação completamente clara o que facilitou muito a minha compreensão, faz correções pontuais com muita educação. Foi só uma primeira aula mas já falamos de vários temas. Fiquei muito entusiasmada com a aula e o seu método.

O professor é muito competente. Mesmo já sabendo falar inglês e querendo só desenferrujar um pouco na prática do idioma, ele me forneceu várias fontes de conteúdo para eu focar na parte do inglês que eu queria aprofundar e ainda me ensinou várias palavras que eu não conhecia mesmo estudando inglês há anos. Foi um prazer conversar sobre diferentes assuntos com o Jackson.
