Welcome! I’m Shahrzad—a Saadi Foundation-certified Persian teacher (6+ years) & English instructor.
سلام! مدرس رسمی زبان فارسی با لهجه‌ی تهرانی (استاندارد). از مبتدی تا پیشرفته، فارسی را *اصولی* و *کاربردی* یاد بگیرید.

What makes an effective language class?
Professional: I know different teaching methods and techniques and I can mix and match materials and methods to suit you.
Systematic: A combination of speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar and vocabulary.

I started learning Persian from scratch a year and a half ago. My motivation is high, and I don't plan to stop, and Shahrzad deserves a lot of credit for that.
We discuss various topics in Persian, and I can see that I'm getting better and better. Shahrzad is patient and supports me when I'm trying to express my thoughts.

I chose Shahrzad as a teacher when I needed to update my English skills, primarily for communicating at job interviews. She helped me compose answers to frequently asked questions, and together we tailored them to me personally, including the way I communicate (wording, articulation, my native accent, etc).
Then we practiced the answers. She was very helpful to control non-verbal communication (verbal fillings, tone of voice, etc.).
After mastering this part, she helped me with proper communication and responses to many questions about my CV, and taught me how to communicate some of the activities correctly in English. We continued to practice the basic questions too.
Every single hour went more than very pleasantly, and I appreciate that Shahrzad managed to be very subtle but unambiguous even in very lively discussions, I love hours with Shahrzad.

Just had my first lesson with Shahrzad. I enjoyed her style, could follow her style and she continually gave me good input and helped with my pronunciation. She is good about giving feedback and encouragement that keeps you going.

I’ve been studying Persian with Shahrzad for almost two years now and I am satisfied with each single class with her. I’ve mastered the grammar and now our focus is on expanding vocabulary and practicing everyday use of the language. Shahrzad is a great teacher, she has the patience and skill to explain all the nuances of the language.
