(Updated 19 Apr, 2024) *Please read class description Hi, I'm Josey from Japan! Live in Mexico and speak Japanese, English, Spanish and bit of Portuguese. I studied Law and Computer Science. I also work as a Programmer and learned Portuguese on italki. My passion is to help students achieve their goals. Strengthen their skills in speaking, listening and reading. I helped many students with exams, checking HW, preparing for traveling and moving to Japan. All my classes are customized for student's needs. I would like to exchange travel experiences and get to know more about my student’s country. I traveled to 28 counties so far, and I love to meet my international students to learn more.

I have taught Japanese in Peru, Colombia. Also taught English in a school in Mexico and Peru. Thanks to your support, I completed more than 7000 classes on italki. I run an active and dynamic class where we can talk, and challenge a lot! Tons of reasons to study this language. ・Traveling (Moving) to Japan 🛫 ・Exam(JLPT and school test or HW)📝 ・Hobbies (Anime, Music Movies..etc)🏯 ・Just want to learn!!! 🤩 I'll organize matching your aim and reasons why you want to improve and learn Japanese. We can program an original class that can approach your needs. I'm open to every class type. Flexible for each student (grammar, conversation, vocabulary, etc..) Please let me know!

Basic - advanced level, all welcomed🔥 I can support the class in several languages, Japanese, English or in Spanish. I use several materials for teaching. For instance, Genki 1&2, Tobiraとびら, Shin Kanzen, Sou Matome. Just contact me which one you want to use! Grammar, conversation, JLPT preparation.. Let me know what you want to focus on! !!! A great class with an equally amazing teacher, who is patient, friendly and clearly has experience in teaching, his energy and motivation keeps me moving forward at a fast pace while making every subject clear and getting all my questions answered. I completely recommend it for anyone that’s interested in Japanese, specially since it’s very beginners-friendly.

Josey 先生は素晴らしかった!!! Very helpful and interactive lesson. I am pretty close to a total beginner, and Josey 先生 gave me helpful advice on creating a study plan for improving my very very basic Japanese before a planned trip. He very quickly zeroed in on my current capabilities and used gestures, repetition, and other contextual aids so we didn’t have to immediately switch back to English. Josey 先生 is very kind and helpful!
