以下、日本語解説! I'm an Australian, CELTA qualified English teacher with experience teaching in lots of different settings. I'm a language learner myself, and can speak Italian, Japanese and Norwegian in addition to English. In addition to teaching English, I also play and teach music professionally, and am an avid tennis player! I'm really outgoing and have wide ranging interests, so I'm happy to talk about anything. 私はオーストラリア人で、CELTAの資格を持ち、様々な環境で教えた経験のある英語教師です。私自身も言語学習者で、英語以外にイタリア語、日本語、ノルウェー語を話すことができます。英語を教えるだけでなく、プロとして音楽を演奏したり教えたりすることもあります！私はとても外向的で、幅広いことに興味があります。 I pride myself on making my lessons fun and engaging. I believe that language learning needs to be fun in order to be effective, and therefore this is my number one priority. I'm flexible in my teaching style, but I also have thoughts about what makes a good English lesson, which I talk about below. I'm also very comfortable teaching using other means, like textbooks, written materials, videos and more. I've really enjoyed learning with James on iTalki. One of the things I appreciate most is that he doesn't interrupt while I'm speaking, which helps me build confidence. At the same time, he quietly notes down any corrections, so I can review and practice them later. When needed, we pause to clarify grammar or context, which makes the lessons even more valuable. It's also a great way to expand my vocabulary. I highly recommend James if you're looking for a supportive and effective language learning experience.
