Hi my name is Sarah I am a native English and also fluent in French and Hungarian. I also speak some Spanish. I grew up in Canada, went to graduate school in California and have worked worldwide and now live in Paris. I have an economics Ph.D. and for many years was a professor at a top ranked US business school. I also worked at the premier international management consulting company and in high-tech in Silicon Valley. I now live in Paris.

As a lifelong language learner and teacher who has taken and given many language classes I have a toolkit of different strategies to help you learn. I personalize the lesson to address your particular needs and goals. I am very experienced in helping PhD students with their research (discussing research, editing working papers, and prepping for seminars etc.) as well developing skills for teaching (pronunciation, teaching strategies etc.) and with their prep for the job market. I so interview prep. I work with individuals who apply to consulting firms with preparing for case interviews as well as with practicing general behavioral interview questions.

If you are an advanced student you may want to improve your business English. I can increase your confidence and help you prepare for job interviews, meetings, and business presentations. I find that everyone has different challenges whether it is their conversation/oral skills, writing, or pronunciation and I tailor my lessons to take account of that.
