Meltem

Meltem is a fantastic teacher! She is always patient with me and I can tell she actually cares. She is always on time, reviews homework very quickly, and is keen to answer any questions I might have (even about Turkish culture!). I also really enjoy that we have frank, open conversations about real topics: education, housing, war, religion, etc. It is very interesting to share our thoughts with such a great distance & cultural gap between us. I am thankful to have found such a great teacher so quickly. If I had not, I might have quit. So thank you Meltem! Sen en iyisin!

I have weekly Turkish conversation lessons with Meltem. The lessons are always fun, informative and motivating and the topics she picks for discussion are interesting and stretching; focussing on different lexical areas each week. She is quick to correct my mistakes and offers easy explanations. But most of all, her charming manner and easy smile create an engaging atmosphere in the virtual classroom, meaning the lessons are a highlight of the week and always somthing to look forward to.

Meltem is a wonderful Turkish teacher! Her lessons are thoughtfully planned and she is always easily able to make adjustments based on my level of understanding. Meltem provides the space and encouragement to speak Turkish even outside my comfort zone. Somehow she always understands what I am trying to say and helps me with the necessary corrections so that others might understand too. I always have a great time during our lessons - Meltem is a skilled conversationalist and I am always learning something new! I am lucky to have Meltem as my Turkish teacher!

Over the past couple of weeks, my two teenagers have been taking Turkish lessons with Meltem, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She has a wonderfully engaging teaching style, focusing on speaking practice, reviewing mistakes, and reinforcing learning through homework and clear explanations. What I appreciate most is her dedication and empathy. She takes the time to understand where each student is struggling and patiently helps them improve. Her method of correcting errors in a supportive way has boosted my children's confidence and motivation to learn. Thanks to her thoughtful and consistent efforts, I’ve already seen noticeable progress in their Turkish language skills. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a compassionate and effective Turkish teacher.

Cada clase con Meltem es un espacio donde además de pasarla bien entiendo cada vez mejor el Turco y sus expresiones cotidianas. Es una excelente profesora y se preocupa de que entiendas cada tema antes de avanzar. La recomiendo 100%

Meltem explains things in a clear and easy way that really helps me understand. I like how she breaks everything down step by step, which makes learning much easier for me.
