Hi, I’m Nere, a certified DELE examiner and educator with over 8 years of experience working with international learners. I teach Spanish, Basque, English, and Italian, and I combine cultural insight with a structured, science-informed approach to help students communicate with confidence.
My teaching is informed by educational neuropsychology, which allows me to adapt lessons to how each learner processes and retains language, making progress clearer and more sustainable.
As an educator trained in educational neuropsychology, I design lessons that align with how the brain processes and retains language, making learning clearer and more effective.
I continue to learn new languages myself, which helps me understand the challenges learners face and adapt my teaching accordingly.
I aim to create a focused, supportive learning environment where students can work toward their goals with clarity, consistency, and confidence.
My teaching approach is based on real-life immersion and meaningful use of language. Lessons are designed so what you learn can be applied directly in everyday situations.

We had an amazing face-to-face class in Bilbao with a lot of cultural activity !!! We wandered around the streets of the city centre where Nere explained to me the history of some of the nicest buildings, she took me to the traditional food market where we tasted typical Basque pintxos. While walking on the street we did a lot of fun vocabulary exercises by translating the signes, street names, billboards from euskera. We finished at a library where she helped me to some some Basque literature books that are appropriate for my current level to keep improving. Mila esker Nere!!!
