I have really enjoyed all my lessons with Mahmood so far, he is an exceptional Arabic teacher with a patient and natural teaching style. Within 6 months I already feel like I've made significant strides in my spoken Arabic effortlessly under his guidance – coming from knowing no Arabic at all, to being able to ask friends how their week is going, talk about work, holidays, and hobbies, and all in past/present/future tenses. Highly recommended for anyone seeking natural language progression. Thanks Mahmood!

I have been having classes with Mahmoud for 2 years, and he is a fantastic teacher! Mahmoud is a patient and kind teacher who is always flexible in his teaching. Despite the busy teaching schedule, he is always positive and enthusiastic which gives me the right motivation especially in my lazy moments! With him, I started from zero to now being able to have conversations (albeit slow) on different topics! I would totally recommend Mahmoud if you are looking for an awesome and inspiring teacher for along run!

I don’t know what I can say. If you are serious about learning Arabic then Mahmood is definitely the person you should schedule your time with. He puts a lot of time, effort, and thought into his lessons in order to truly make the most out of the time he has with you. He doesn’t overwhelm you with too much at once. He allows the lesson to flow organically and even the questions you have during the lesson feel as though they were supposed to happen at that time. I enjoyed my first class with him immensely and I can’t wait for the next one. All I can say to sum up Mahmood is INCREDIBLE. As a teacher he manages his time wisely taking pauses to ensure that everything is clear and that you’re not lost. His direction of the lessons is done impeccably; he creates your notes real time and he explains what’s happening as it’s happening. He’ll take brief pauses to ask you to provide examples reinforcing your recall of the information. I’m beyond happy.

It is so helpful when Mahmood makes me break down a sentence to describe each word & its conjugation! Also, I meant to ask him to start giving me the word root and organically somehow he started that today. 3njaaaad he pays attention to what the student needs and is able to meet at their level. This is one of his excellent excellent strengths as a teacher. Thank you, as usual!

Mahmood’s style of teaching is refreshing from the traditional standard classroom. He encourages the « I don’t know » and incorporates that into the lesson to build vocabulary and to establish an appropriate zone of learning. I love that in his teachings he’s not just talking but he encourages you to talk as well and requires that you think on your feet to establish and maintain a lesson focused dialogue. I can already feel my language skills improving.
