Hola! I’m Karen, a certified ELE (Spanish as a Foreign Language) educator with over 6 years of experience and a degree in Foreign Trade. As the Founder of a language platform, I combine pedagogical expertise with a professional global vision. I specialise in creating structured, high-impact learning experiences for these groups: people relocating to Latin America, Mexican-Americans seeking to connect with their roots, students who enjoy learning languages and young learners. As a YouTuber and content creator, I bring a dynamic and visual energy to every lesson. I don't just teach a language; I share the soul of Mexico. Let’s start your journey today!

عني كمعلّم

I have spent years mastering what I call my "teaching superpower": taking the most "frightening" Spanish grammar rules and breaking them down into simple, digestible concepts. My goal is for you to spend less time scratching your head and more time using the language. For my younger students, this approach works really well. In my lessons, kids often forget they are even studying. Because the environment is so engaging and interactive (I create a notebook on Canva so they can develop their imagination), we often find that time flies, and before they know it, they’ve spent an hour absorbing a new language. 🎥 I’m also a passionate YouTuber and enjoy talking about my culture.

⭐️ Pattern Recognition: I teach you to see the underlying patterns of the language. Once you see the pattern, you can build your own sentences instead of just repeating mine. ⭐️ Homework and follow up: During our first session, I’ll assess your level and goals to create a personalized plan for your success. ⭐️ Platforms I use: Canva, Quizlet, YouTube videos created by me, word wall, Kahoot. ⭐️ Active Speaking: You will be speaking from the very first class. My job is to give you the maximum "student talking time" so you can build the muscle memory needed for fluency. ⭐️Logic over Memorization: I show you how Spanish logic compares to English.

I really enjoyed my first class with Karen! I had lots of opportunities to speak, listen, and respond, and her corrections were very helpful. She also included some reading and comprehension, which I really struggle with, but she presented it in a fun and enjoyable way. Karen was professional, thorough, and encouraging. Thank you!

I was looking for the perfect teacher for my daughters, and I am so glad I found Karen. Karen is friendly, energetic, and fun. But more than that, she emphasizes speaking Spanish! I have tried other approaches with my daughters, but hers is super effective at getting my daughters to want to speak Spanish with each other. By the end of the first lesson, my daughters were speaking and asking full questions of each other. :)

Karen me ayudó en las preparaciones para el examen DELE C1, de modo que me sentí lista y tranquila el día del examen. Sobre todo, creía en mi y me dió mucha confianza en mi misma, que vale mucho más que un curso rigoroso Por supuesto, hay maestros que se enfocan en la preparación de una manera más exigente, pero Karen se adaptó con facilidad a lo que necesité: más enfoque en la tarea oral y escrita, ya que la comprensión oral/de lectura se puede practicar solo. ¡Mil gracias por el apoyo!
