American 🇺🇸 from Maryland (馬里蘭州), I came to Taiwan in 2005 to teach English, followed by a career in management, marketing, and translation. My classes are LGBT + friendly 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️. I'm experienced with learning differences (ADHD, ASD). Fluent in Mandarin 🇹🇼 🇨🇳; studying French 🇫🇷.
Experience:
6+ years at Princeton Review. Certified to teach TOEFL. Developed A1-C2 English courses for high school, college, & adult students.
Since 2014, I've coached 100s of tech startup CEOs and jobseekers. I've hired many employees in my career, & helped numerous italki students ace job & university interviews.

Holly is absolutely fantastic. You can never meet a teacher like her. She is the best English tutor I have ever met online. Her intelligence and empathy make for engaging and enjoyable conversations, no matter what the topic is. Teacher Holly provided me a very positive teaching experience, before the class, I was a little bit nervous, however, after the greeting, the feeling just disappeared. We talked about my learning goals, how to improvement and my current status.
