I am Saheli Roy, a certified IELTS and TOEFL instructor with over a decade of experience in guiding students toward exam success and fluent English communication. Holding a Master’s degree and a qualification in pedagogy, I employ structured yet engaging teaching methodologies tailored to both test preparation and practical language mastery. Originally from India, I now reside in Switzerland, where I continue to foster cross-cultural connections through language education.عني كمعلّم
I have been teaching for over 10 years now. I have been a high school teacher in India. I was also associated with an institution where I trained students for TOEFL and IElTS. It is such a joy to teach people who are inquisitive and ready to learn new things. My classes are dynamic, interactive and more fun. I believe in more dynamic approach. Teaching should be more interactive and not simple monologue where I speak and the student listens. I require more student participation by engaging them in quiz, making them read articles and using flash cards. Saheli has been very willing to adapt lessons to my individual needs. I am learning Bengali as it is my wife's mother language. Saheli is teaching language and assisting with cultural contexts to increase my understanding of Bengali culture, not just the language.
