Hola Hola! ✨I’m Mary, originally from Venezuela and now living in Madrid, Spain. I’ve also lived in Colombia and Norway, experiences that have taught me to value different cultures and ways of life. I love nature, watching sunsets, practicing Pilates, dancing (even if I’m not the best 😄), and of course, learning languages. I’m always eager to connect with people from around the world. Traveling, teaching, and trying new foods are some of the things that make me happiest.عني كمعلّم
I have over 7 years of experience teaching languages, including more than 4 years on italki, working with students from all over the world and with very different native languages. As a teacher, I’m patient and love creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere like chatting with a friend. I believe learning should be enjoyable and pressure-free, always adapting to your needs, interests, and pace. I love motivating my students and helping them gain confidence, and having been a language learner myself, I understand the challenges and excitement of the journey. Mary has a wonderfully easygoing and kind personality that immediately puts students at ease. She creates a safe, supportive environment where making mistakes feels like part of the journey—not something to fear. The italki class room is glitching frequently. We have to use teams and then it doesn’t communicate with the AI. Hopefully italki can figure out the issues
