Hi! I'm Nikki! I speak English, Filipino, and conversational Japanese. I'm deeply interested in psychology, history, languages, and cultures. In my free time, I enjoy reading, watching anime, playing video games, and learning languages.
I’ve been teaching online for five years now and have had the pleasure of working with students of all ages from around the world. This experience has helped me develop flexible teaching methods and build up a lot of teaching resources. I can create lessons tailored to your goals, whether you want to practice conversation, work on your grammar, prepare for the IELTS speaking exam, Cambridge exams, Eiken, or focus on other areas/topics.عني كمعلّم
I have taught in several literacy programs and taken English and communication courses. Communication and fluency are the focus of my conversation lessons. Lessons will cover grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
Since I teach a diverse group of students, I tailor my teaching methods to meet the needs and goals of each student. I'm a strong believer in learning by doing, so I encourage my students to speak their target language with confidence. I use a variety of resources, from textbooks to fun websites, to make learning enjoyable and effective.
Feedback is usually given during class.

In these lessons, we'll focus on building fluency through regular practice. We'll cover grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation as we go. If you'd rather focus on grammar, that's totally fine too! I can also help you boost your IELTS Speaking score with targeted practice and feedback. To support your progress, we’ll use a mix of structured lessons and conversation lessons.

Nikki is such a nice teacher. She is very patient, very kind, and very encouraging. We can talk about a lot of interesting things and meanwhile I can learn new words and sentence structures and also correct my mistakes thanks to her feedback. Her teaching style really creates a warm, supportive learning environment.

I have learned grammar in school, and on my own, but my real problem is speaking. I've tried everything, but nothing worked for me. Until I tried taking one-on-one speaking lessons. Nikki is really easy to talk with and she sends corrections after the class. She knows so much about so many things, and I learned a lot from our conversation. She knows a lot about my interests and has no problem discussing anything under the sun. So, I learned many new words from her. She can speak some Japanese too! I didn't realize it, but a friend from another country said my speaking sounds more natural now.
I'm really really thankful to her! My confidence has increased! Thank you!
