On a personal note I live in South Africa and have been fortunate enough to have travelled extensively with my husband. I am a mother of three grown up children who have degrees and are now all working.عني كمعلّم
I am truly passionate about education and helping people grow. I come from a teaching background and majored in English and Psychology at University. I also have a TEFL 300hr Certificate which is for General on-line and Business English training. Having certified as a TEFL teacher I am able to use my skills to accurately assess the level of a potential student as well as the needs and aims they have. I prefer to teach using the PPP style as it allows for a careful and thorough flow throughout a lesson. I am however, of the belief that lessons should be flexible and adjust according to the situation at hand. A conversational style with the intention to extend your vocabulary may work best for you. There are many ways to create a 'lesson' that involves you and helps you to benefit. Once you schedule a lesson with me we can work out what works for you!الشهادات

This was my first lesson with Karen and definitely not the last one :) Karen is a very kind and patient person. Her pronunciation is great and easy to understand. We talk a while about us, our countries, and the current world situation. After that Karen gave me nice feedback and then we planed the next step in my learning path. Thanks, Karen!

She is a wonderful teacher. Very patient and kind. I am a complete beginner but thanks to her, I am learning a lot and recently, I feel much more confident. I am glad to continue learning from Miss Karen in the future.
