こんにちは！横浜出身のAmiです。言語聴覚士として10年間、言語のサポートに携わり、2016年からは日本語教師としてUK・NZ・アイルランドで多国籍な生徒さん（13～60歳）に教えてきました。言語学を学び、現在はイタリア語習得中！異文化や旅行、現地の食を通した学びを大切にしています。「正しい発音」や「自然な会話」に重点を置いたレッスンが得意です。一緒に楽しく日本語をブラッシュアップしましょう！
Hello! I'm Ami, originally from Yokohama. I’d been working as a speech-language-hearing therapist for 10 years, supporting communication. Since 2016, I've been teaching Japanese as a Japanese language teacher to a multinational students (ages 13-60) in UK, Ireland and NZ. I studied linguistics and am currently learning Italian! I value learning through different cultures, travel, and local cuisine. I specialize in lessons that focus on "corrrrect pronunciation" and "natural conversation".عني كمعلّم
2016年に日本語教師の資格取得以降、ロンドン、オークランドにてオフライン、オンラインにて13歳から60歳までの初級から上級レベルの生徒さん100人以上に教えてきました。生徒さんの国籍は様々でニュージーランド人、イギリス人、アメリカ人、フランス人、イタリア人、スペイン人、ポーランド人、ロシア人、中国人等の生徒さんに教えてきました。
またJLPTや大学の試験対策、日常会話、ビジネス会話を教えてきました。
外国語を学ぶのは難しいですが、皆様の日本語上達に向け、手助けできたら幸いです。
I have worked as a qualified Japanese teacher for 10 years in London, Ireland and NZ. I have given lessons to students who are from 13 - 60 years old, from completely beginners to advanced. and they are from NZ, UK, USA, France, Italy, Spain, other European countries, China, etc.
I have taught more than 200 students with different aims.

レッスン形式は生徒さんの希望に沿う形にしており、教科書や新聞記事中心のレッスン、会話中心のレッスン、旅行会話中心のレッスン、JLPTや大学の試験対策などを行うことができます。教材は生徒さんのレベルに合わせ、決めています。
また言語聴覚士でもあるため、生徒さんの発音には特に注意をしており、正しい発音へと導けるように努力しています。
My lesson styles depend on students.
At first, I ask students how they would like to learn Japanese and what their aims or goals to learn Japanese are. Then, I suggest how we could have lessons. I can give lesson based on textbookds, exam preparetions such as JLPT or university exams, or conversations like daily conversation or travel conversation.
We can discus lesson styles anytime.
Also, as a speech therapist, I always try to help student's pronouniation!

Ami-sensei has been a great teacher for me. Language learning definitely does not come naturally for me, but in our lessons I never feel stupid and I feel like I'm making steady progress and actually retaining the things I learn.

Another enjoyable conversation with Ami sensei. She listens carefully and is very patient with my mistakes. I find it useful when she types corrections in the chat and I like to review them after the lesson.
