Olá! I'm thrilled to introduce myself as your Portuguese teacher. My name is Thais, and I bring a unique blend of passion, education, and cultural appreciation to our language learning journey.
My journey into the world of language education took me to Arizona State University (ASU), where I delved into the art and science of teaching languages. It was at ASU where I earned my TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certificate, equipping me with the necessary skills to effectively teach and communicate with learners from diverse backgrounds.
Beyond the confines of academia, my love for Portuguese extends to its vibrant culture, literature, and people.

As a Portuguese teacher, I believe that language learning should be fun, interactive, and relevant to your interests. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and helping my students to succeed. With over three years of experience teaching Portuguese, I am confident in my ability to guide you on your language-learning journey.
In addition to teaching you the language, I will also provide insights into Portuguese culture, traditions, and customs. My goal is not only to help you become fluent in Portuguese, but also to give you a deeper understanding and appreciation of the Portuguese-speaking world.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
Through the conversational approach, my lessons emphasize teaching you the essentials for everyday use of the Portuguese language. While maintaining a solid foundation in grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation, the primary focus of the classes will be teaching you the essential skill of syntax. As a teacher, I take great pride in creating my own teaching materials that are tailored towards visual learning. A visually appealing design can greatly enhance the learning experience and help students retain information better. Lessons with Thais are always amazing! She's super welcoming and knowledgeable, and I always feel happy asking questions or trying things even if I might make a mistake, as I know she'll be kind and help me understand how to get it right next time. :) Also very flexible to adapt the lessons to my needs! Super recommend!

I had a fantastic lesson with Thais! We introduced ourselves, I explained my reasons for learning Portuguese, and she described her method of teaching. Thais was enthusiastic, good-natured, and well-prepared. I cannot imagine a better introductory lesson!
