Hi! I am Alessandra, creator of “Cocai Italiano” and *Top 1% teacher on iTalki*. A native Italian speaker and certified teacher (*Cedils* qualification), I have brought the beauty of Italian to China, Ukraine and online all over the world. My specialty? *Preparation for certifications* and lessons rich in *culture and literature* (I have published 4 novels!). I travel between languages (I speak Chinese, Russian and 4 others) and love to help students *communicate with confidence*, whether for work or passion. With me, Italian comes alive!عني كمعلّم
I am in love with languages and I myself have been a language student, so I can say I am close to you!
I perfectly master my native language and moreover I have published 4 novels and a lot of articles: so I adore to teach Italian to passionated people or to whom wants to get to know the culture of my country.

I have been teaching one to one lessons or to groups from 2 to 12 students, especially in private schools and offices. My program is based on grammar and vocabulary topics requested by every level of the language certifications, from a basic to an advanced one. I believe that languages are a way to communicate, therefore during my lessons the students will talk a lot focusing every time on a specific grammar and vocabulary topic. Alessandra is a great teacher! You can really tell that she has extensive experience teaching students at different levels. From the very start she was able to assess my level correctly, without me even having to think about it, and provide me with material and practice challenging enough for my level. Her materials and lessons are tailored to my goals (improving my spoken Italian), interests (e.g. talking about travelling), and personal situation (e.g. remote working - pros and cons).
She helps me identify areas of improvement (e.g. past tense), and work on them accordingly. She is always well prepared which makes the lessons efficient and effective for me. Another thing which I really appreciate is that she speaks to me mostly in Italian, and helps me formulate my thoughts in proper Italian. In addition to all this, she is a very nice person, fun and easy to talk to.

Fantastic experience! Alessandra is knowledgeable & sets pace that makes learning fun. She typed out everything she was saying and even sent a Google Doc as a follow up just in case I missed anythjng. Great instructor!
