Hi, I'm Bobbi, a qualified secondary school teacher specialising in Geography & History. I aim to help students improve English through conversation, discussion and subject-specific English for humanities. In my free time I like to travel and participate in sports. I enjoy reading, watching films and live sports.عني كمعلّم
As a teacher, I adjust my teaching to suit your individual needs. Lessons can be fully structured and specific, or more relaxed depending on your preferences.
The types of lessons I offer are:
1. Academic English lessons - essays, paraphrasing, vocabulary, reading, formal writing and research.
2. Humanities tutoring (history and geography) - GCSE/Key Stage 3, writing structure, exam techniques, extended writing practice.
3. English through History and Geography (CLIL) - learn English through fascinating topics (global conflicts, migration, climate change, development, disasters etc).
4. Speaking classes - confidence, fluency and conversation with corrections.

I’m very grateful for my lesson with Bobbi today. I especially want to say thank you for her brilliant and deep thoughts, and for the way she really listened to me. I spoke a lot during our lesson, and that was a huge benefit for me - it was possible because of her thoughtful questions and the way she shared her own opinions.
