Learning a language is a challenge: maybe you don’t know where to start, maybe you’ve hit the “learning plateau” feeling that you can’t make any progress, or maybe you’re an advanced student who needs to practice and improve your skills…

My name is Maria Camila, I learned English on my own (I KNOW it can be hard), and it's my goal to guide and support you so you can learn Spanish in an efficient, fun, and personalized way.

I want you to feel supported during our classes as we go, we’ll identify new blocks in learning and the best strategy to overcome them.
During our first class, I’ll assess your Spanish level and together we will identify your strengths, improvement opportunities, and goals. Keeping these in mind, I’ll build a personalized plan for our classes and I will also share exercises and extra activities to keep on working on your Spanish needs based on your interests and learning preferences.

It was my first lesson with María and I was really surprised about her level of English. So if your coming from English and want to learn Spanish she's definitely the right teacher for you.
She's super friendly and knows how to correct your mistakes on the go without interrupting the flow. And she made true on the homework and already gave me some for the next lesson :-)
It was really an excellent class and we never ran out of topics to talk about. Will definitely book more classes with her.

I've done about 30 lessons now with Camila, and she is just a wonderful teacher--chatty, engaged, and charming. My Spanish is at a level where I can express myself passably for day-to-day topics (perhaps B1 level), but from time to time I find myself reaching for a word that I don't have. At that point Camila's extraordinary English ability comes to the rescue, since she can almost always instantly give me the Spanish version of the English word I am struggling to translate. That helps make my language learning more efficient. Camila remembers the areas where I'm weak and encourages me in those areas and notices when I progress. Really really recommended.

I find that Maria's ability to switch from english to spanish very helpful . We have absolutely no barrier to communicate. This makes me feel very comfortable so I can feel free to speak in spanish without fear of making mistakes because she will understand and correct me only when I have finished my sentence. She senses what things I will need to practice and points me in the right direction to improve my ability to have real conversation.
