From the English countryside to the Spanish Metropole now embracing South Africa’s wild savana, I bring a global perspective to teaching.
A CELTA-certified English teacher with a PhD in Sociology and 25+ years teaching experience, I specialise in English for all ages, general, academic and professional English—enabling overall skills development.
My life is lively: guarding fruit trees from baboons, admiring sunsets with my family and dogs, and staying curious about the world. But my true joy? Learning from others and enabling others to shine, whether for educational, professional or academic purposes.

I have learnt a lot from Dr Annie's lessons on pronunciation ! Of course, practice after class is necessary and it takes time to form new muscle memories. Dr Annie can help you in this process to achieve your goals more efficiently. Starting with the basic vowels, it's a rigorous journey of pronunciation correction. But there's no need to be nervous, as the Doctor will always make the class fun.
Recommended for Asian students struggling with pronunciation!
