Yuko

Yuko-sensei is a phenomenal teacher - any day that I'm feeling a little nervous for class because I feel insecure in my Japanese or under-prepared for our lesson, I end up leaving the class with a renewed sense of self-confidence. That motivation & confidence she gives me paired with how helpful her explanations are make classes with her invaluable!! I can't recommend Yuko-sensei highly enough! ありがとうございます！

Como siempre una clase magistral por parte de Yuko. Nos encanta como enseña, se nota que le gusta mucho y realmente tiene la virtud de transmitir esa pasión a sus estudiantes. Muchísimas gracias de todo corazón haces que aprender Japonés sea genial.

Yuko es una excelente profesora. Muy paciente, amable y, lo más importante, crea un ambiente confianza en el que el estudiante se siente cómodo. ¡Recomiendo a todos los que quieran aventurarse en el estudio del japonés!

Wonderful lesson as always. I've always been the type to start learning how to do something and she has been supportive and encouraging enough that I would never consider giving up on learning Japanese.

Yuko a une approche excellente et personnalisable. Je n'ai pas étudié sérieusement depuis plusieurs années et il n'y a aucune gêne quand il s'agit de réviser la base avec elle. C'est génial de ne pas avoir de pression et d'apprendre à son rythme! また来週！

It has only been my first lesson with Yuko-san, so it might still be a bit soon to completely understand where the lessons might be going/taking me, but so far, the first impression was certainly quite positive. Very welcoming, easy to speak to, and understanding. I was asked, and motivated to try to speak/read, and I was able to naturally show where my basic knowledge stands. Cultural information was provided on the usage of the language, and on Japanese culture, which, in particular for Japan, it's extremely important. The lesson felt quite relaxed and informal. I has never been "evaluated'/"corrected" when trying to communicate in Japanese, so it was quite helpful to make me feel more at easy, and start to not mind making mistakes. ....and this was an introductory (shorter) lesson. I'm excited and motivated to see where the next lessons, and by extension myself, will go... And for me, that's already halfway of what anyone needs, to make progress learning a language. 😁
