Passionate about language and dedicated to empowering students, I am an experienced English tutor and committed to fostering a positive and enriching learning environment. I am fully bilingual(English/Afrikaans). My journey as an educator has spanned in excess of 5 years, during which I've had the privilege of guiding students from diverse backgrounds to achieve their language proficiency goals.عني كمعلّم
I believe in tailoring my teaching approach to the individual needs and aspirations of my students. My teaching philosophy revolves around not just imparting knowledge but also instilling confidence in my students to express themselves fluently in English and Afrikaans. I specialise in British English conversation but am familiar with a variety of English styles.
I correct pronunciation.
I introduce and explain new vocabulary based on the topic of conversation.
I create a safe and comfortable space for you to learn English/Afrikaans.
I have more than 5000 hours of online teaching experience on various platforms.

This time we had a conversation lesson. It was very satisfying to me in a sense that by the end of the lesson I felt that I was really learning something and moving toward my goal. I am happy with MS Angela Smith's lessons, and I will definitely want to book more.
