Juan Carlos is the best! He's an incredibly effective communicator for learners and I have definitely found my teacher, taking his lessons. I've found myself picking up a lot of new vocab through our sessions - he's quick to give me an example if I'm searching for a word that I don't know, or if there's an idea that I can't express (which happens frequently). He's got a wealth of great stories and is just a really nice guy, as well. We do a mix of crosstalk and conversation, and he's great about steering the conversation since I often forget to ask follow-up questions. We've covered a range of topics in our few sessions together, and hopefully we can cover many more in the future!
