I am a sound artist and sound designer for animation film, currently living in Brussels. I grew up bi-(tri-lingual, if you count swiss german) in Turkish and German. Over the past years I lived in many different countries worked in many international settings, so English became as much of an essential language to me as my native tongues. My love for communication and expression is a big reason why I enjoy learning languages. There is little bliss that compares to communicating in several languages.عني كمعلّم
What we will do in our time together here on italki is: enjoying the learning process through maybe sometimes challenging exercises of having free conversation and writing together, maybe recording texts and listening to examples of native speakers.
Of course we will model our time together according to your level, needs and expectations. So, I am very open to wishes and suggestions. دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
I can provide basic exercises in grammar, understanding text, listening and recording text, answering questions and building a conversation in German and Swiss German.

ARzu is a fantastic teacher. She is very good at listening, guiding, and encouraging, without ever coming across as judgmental or critical, even when I make a ton of mistakes in a row.
She is very good at adjusting and adapting her teaching to my level, while pushing me outside of my comfort zone just enough to where I don't feel like I learned anything all lesson.
She is very good at tailoring the lesson to want I want as well, whether I want to just talk for an hour and practice that way, or if I want actual lessons where I need to sit down and focus and learn.
I highly recommend aRzu!

Der Unterricht mit Arzu ist immer sehr einfach, interessant und vermittelt viele Informationen. Ich habe das Glück, Arzu zu treffen, ich freue mich auf den Unterricht, und nach dem Unterricht habe ich immer gute Laune und Vertrauen in Deutsch.

I don't speak German well. That's why I'm shy to speak. But Arzu kept asking questions and encouraged me to speak. I took 12 lessons from Arzu and after those lessons I started speaking more German. For me, we reached our goal with my teacher .
