Hello! I’m Tiju Issac, a Deaf educator fluent in 5 sign languages (ASL, Indian, Russian, International Sign, and more). My superpower? Bridging cultures—whether you’re mastering ASL for daily life or Indian Sign Language for travel adventures.

I’m excited to help you learn American Sign Language (ASL) step by step. My lessons will help you become good at communicating clearly in ASL. You’ll learn the correct signs and facial expressions, which are very important for understanding in Deaf communication. You will learn 300 important words and 100 key sentences based on Deaf grammar. We’ll practice conversations, so you can feel confident when talking with the Deaf community.
If you want to visit India, you can also learn Indian Sign Language. I will connect you with the Deaf community there, so you can have a great travel experience!

In our lessons, we cover important topics like vocabulary, handshapes, facial expressions, Deaf culture, and more. I use practical assignments, quizzes, and ASL/ISL phrase practice to help you improve.
Learning the right handshapes and facial expressions is essential in both American Sign Language (ASL) and Indian Sign Language (ISL). These skills help you communicate clearly and connect with the Deaf community. Understanding Deaf culture is also key to effective communication.

Web Developer and ASL TeacherI have years of experience teaching American Sign Language (ASL) to both hearing people and the deaf community. Along with ASL, I also teach technology and technical skills to deaf students, helping them build valuable knowledge for their careers. Additionally, I work as an online home tutor, providing lessons to international students who are eager to learn ASL and technical skills. My diverse teaching background enables me to offer a rich and well-rounded learning experience.

I think I enjoy this teacher giving new words. I also hope to have more sentences to practise. Conversation is the best way to really practise the signs.

His class was interesting. Appreciate him for typing out the words I didn't know. I enjoyed the conversation part to learn new words and a list of words for revision and new knowledge. I hope to gain more confident in signing.

I had a great time in his class! He was warm, kind, and very cheerful. The exercises we did were very helpful and he was great at coaching me on non-manual grammar, which I definitely need to refine. 10/10!!!
