Sarah Moon

another great class with Sarah, I always have a really fun class with her and I learn so much. She is very kind and patient and I really enjoy talking about our different cultures together.

Our lesson on cooking coincided with Chuseok, so we also talked about the foods that are prepared for the holiday. I really like how Teacher Moon incorporates history and culture with the language lessons.

I really like that so much of our lessons are conversation. It's really interesting, and if I'm having trouble understanding, Teacher Moon will explain with pictures or other similar words that I'm more familiar with. And at the end she recaps the new words so I can keep practicing them.

선생님 is alway's great, I love my lessons with her, I usually come prepared with pictures of things I've done or cooked and we chat all about them, and she gives me lots of insight into korean culture. I always finish my lessons feeling like I've learned a little more Korean and come away even more confident.

When I am worried I'm not as far along as I think i should be, Teacher Moon leads me in a conversation that shows how much I really have learned. Not only is she great at teaching, but she's also great at encouraging!

I love that Teacher Moon is gradually making the conversations more challenging as I'm learning. And if I forget something that we've talked about before, she's kind about reminding me.
