¡Hola! I'm Miguel, a certified Spanish teacher (Instituto Cervantes & UPB) from Colombia, with real-world experience working in Mexico and Spain.
My mission? Helping absolute beginners and travelers feel confident speaking Spanish from day one. Forget boring textbooks, my lessons are dynamic, practical, and focused on real-life communication.

I’m certified in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language by the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and Instituto Cervantes.

As an adult learner, Miguel was an excellent choice as my first teacher. He brought with him patience, humor and a historical knowledge of Spanish that was incredible. His communication and teaching is very fun and casual, while still professional and efficient.

Miguel was kind enough to hop on and meet with me after I missed our scheduled time to meet. I liked that he told me my errors and what I needed to fix at the end rather than throughout the call. This let the conversation get into a flow and rhythm, which I think helps boost confidence as a non-native speaker. Highly recommend him if you're looking to improve your conversational skills!
