I'm a native Italian speaker, I live in Padua, near Venice. I'm a very curious person and I love to listen and talk to other people. I have many interests: sports, science, books, arts, politics and cultural studies. I have degrees in psychology and neuroscience, I'm interested in oriental philosophy and I've been practicing martial arts for many years. I'm a very open-minded person and very patient.عني كمعلّم
I think Italki is a perfect occasion to improve foreign languages because it offers what usually is very rare in traditional classes: a single person dedicated to you and the possibility to speak, freely and with no hurry. Conversation is the most important factor to improve a language. Moreover, I think I can make my students feel comfortable, at ease and relaxed during my classes. My golden rule is: if I am enjoying this moment and I'm having fun, so will the student.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
As a tutor, my lessons are focused on a natural conversation between me and the student, so that she or he may learn and improve the typical oral expressions and idioms. I had my 100th lesson with Camilla today and all I can say is that I am incredibly happy to have found her. I have learned so much in this past 1.5 years to the point that I can have full conversations in Italian using formal language but also slang and I can also present my academic work with ease. She has also taught me about regional differences and to identify the different accents. I will be doing my 4th trip to Italy in a few months and I am certain I am going to have the best time thanks to Camilla! Grazie, Professoressa.

Conversation lessons with Camilla are such a treat! I was a bit nervous because I haven't practiced my Italian in a while but Camilla made me feel at ease right away. In the beginning, she gently guided the conversation to maximize my learning and, when I warmed up and felt more confident, she let me take the lead.
