Hello! My name is Manon, I am a native English speaker from Wales in Britain. I have been working as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher since 2020 and have taught online and in person. Outside of teaching, I enjoy practicing dance, surfing, making music, traveling and cooking. I am open minded and love learning about different cultures and ways of life. I am here to help you with your conversational English, whatever your level or age! I have a TEFL teaching certificate and five years of experience as an online English as a Second Language (ESL) tutor, teaching students of all ages from various countries around the world. Additionally, I have in-person English teaching experience at a language academy in Mexico and a Montessori preschool, which has allowed me to work with a diverse groups of learners. My teaching style is supportive, aiming to help students feel confident expressing themselves in English and comfortable learning from their mistakes. I started to do lessons with Non over two years ago because of my PhD and professional goals. The most important characteristic of the lessons with Non is that she's always interested in hearing the students so that they feel comfortable to speak and try their best. Non introduced the English language to me in such way that currently I enjoy a lot speaking in English, improving my pronunciation and learning about Wales, British culture and its accents. Currently Non and I are working focused on job interviews and in future we will go over IELTS preparation.
