Originally from Congo Kinshasa, I have had the privilege of living in diverse countries such as France, Belgium and China. Currently, I reside in the United States, where I continue to broaden my experiences and professional growth.عني كمعلّم
My lessons are thoughtfully structured to be engaging and effective, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. You will focus on developing your speaking skills while simultaneously reinforcing your understanding of grammar. The course will incorporate speaking, listening, reading, and, when appropriate, writing exercises to promote well-rounded language proficiency.

Joel was awesome! super patient and kind. recognized where I was at and didn't drown me in vocabulary from the get go.

I had my first lesson with Joel for Lingala. He is very personable, so we had a very relaxed lesson, yet still effective, and I learned things I hadn't read about in the meager learning resources available that exist for Lingala in English. Of course as a native Lingala speaker, Joel helped me with my intonation and stress when pronouncing words, correcting me to help me achieve a more native sound (albeit I'm far from it now). I plan to continue my Lingala studies with Joel, who I believe can help me achieve my goals in the language.
