Hi! My name is Maria. I’m from Russia, and I live and work in Spain. I’m a teacher of Russian as a foreign language with a degree in Linguistics and professional training in teaching Russian from Moscow State University. I love languages, art, history and meaningful conversations, so in my lessons we can talk about many topics from everyday life to culture and society. My students often mention my patience, dedication and ability to make lessons enjoyable, structured and motivating. I’ll help you improve your Russian with confidence and real progress. Maria is absolutely wonderful, charming and brilliant. The class is structured with purpose and her learning style adapts to the student. Progress has been meaningful and deliberate. Maria is a great teacher. She understands English very well, and can interpret the meaning behind each sentence and example. She is very knowledgeable about translating sentences from English and creating quality sentences in Russian, though the structure of the two languages is very different. I strongly suggest.
