I am a Dutch citizen, living in Italy. I've lived 18 years in London. Since June 2020 I taught over 5000 lessons in Dutch/English online & F2F. With a no-nonsense approach, I guide you to achieve the goals you want.
Since 2020 I am enjoying teaching both Dutch and English as an International Certified Teacher in English (TEFL, TESOL and TBE, Business English). Also, I prepared many students for NT2 and CNaVT exams (Nederlands).
Ik ben Marleen en heb de Nederlandse nationaliteit. Na mijn middelbare school heb ik 10 jaar in Amsterdam gewoond, waar ik heb gestudeerd en gewerkt. Na 18 jaar in London, leef ik nu in Italie.عني كمعلّم
I have over 20-years of experience in business, working in English. I worked in the IT and Energy sector as well as running my own wine business. I adjust the lessons whether you are preparing for an exam, an interview, or you focus on improving your presentation skills or small talk.
Gedurende mijn jaren in het bedrijfleven in de Energie sector, heb ik veel plezier beleefd aan werken met mensen van allerlei culturen. Ik plan individuele lessen. My lessons in Dutch and English are prepared for each individual to meet your targets. Communication to grow confidence in speaking are key. Lessons are structured with a themed approach, vocabulary, listening, reading, and writing. Grammar will be built in and I follow either the NT2 taalmenu or Cambridge English curriculum. I use OneNote which I will share with you and all materials, including links to videos and audio, are stored and accessible to you at all times. I hope to speak to you soon!
