My name is Ian and I'm from Northampton in the UK. I have been a teacher for the past 14 years and my teaching career has taken me all over the world. I have taught in England, South Korea, Hungary, China and Tbilisi, Georgia but nowadays I live in the rainy city of Manchester! My passions include reading non-fiction books, hiking and exploring new places with people I love.عني كمعلّم
I am a fully qualified English teacher with 14 years of experience teaching students from all over the world and of all different levels. I started teaching in 2010, earning my CELTA qualification in 2012 and completing my DELTA in 2018.

I specialise in teaching advanced levels and IELTS exam preparation. However, throughout my career I have taught everyone from beginner to advanced and from students to CEO's and I can plan lessons for students of any level.دروسي وأسلوب تدريسي
My lessons are interactive and designed to give you the most effective and authentic speaking experience possible. Each lesson is planned and structured around a specific aspect of English - Grammar, Speaking, Reading, Vocabulary, Listening etc. - and I use a range of different materials including PDF books, YouTube videos, TED talks, PowerPoint presentations and more. I like to have meaningful discussions that are indicative of the real-world and I try to avoid discussing ‘boring’ topics such as the weather, vacations and hobbies. Había tomado otras dos sesiones del círculo de lectura con Ian y en esta ocasión, en un curso privado, leímos "The Psycopath Test". Disfruté mucho la lectura, así como la forma en la que lleva la sesión para estimular el diálogo.
