I am a language teacher🧑🏫 and linguistics professor👨🎓. In my spare time I like to read news and stay on top of what's going on in the world. I like to walk with my dog (he's called 'Cilantro🐕') and ride my motorcycle🏍️.

A lesson with me begins by getting to know my student: their skills, knowledge and goals for learning Spanish. I can adapt to many different learning styles, from the most dynamic and conversation-focused, to those that require a more grammatical approach.
I will recommend a customized approach according to your Spanish level, learning style and goals in our first class. I will also create a personalized profile of you as a student and I will share it with you so that you can see your own progress. WE'LL BE USING AI TOOLS TOO!🤖

Very impressed by my intro lesson. An extremely pleasant, communicative and relaxed person who was very quickly able to ascertain what is needed for my continuing development and had some excellent teaching tools for me to follow. I'll definitely be booking more lessons with him.

Great teaching style, gives important tips as a native speaker to sound more natural. I loved the way the lesson was structuref with the focus on conversations in Spanish.

Every lesson is so fun, productive and insightful. Julian is a great teacher, his lessons never feel like a chore, which is usually what I'd struggle with learning languages in the past.
I've tried other iTalki teachers before finding Julian but no one else fit from the first 5-10 minutes.
Really recommend Julian as a teacher both for total newbies like myself or those that need to polish their knowledge of certain topics.

Julian is an excellent teacher. He uses a variety of tools and materials to help you learn and is organized with the lesson time. I appreciate his fast pace and expectation that practice happen between lessons.
